From systems that provide an economical choice in cladding, to those that meet the needs of the most demanding high-profile projects, we offer number of options from which to choose. Innovative materials such as high density polypropylene and thermoset phenolic resin take place along side plywood, gypsum board, and hardboard to bring the designer a complete palette of cladding solutions.
EXTERIOR CLADDING/WALL PANEL SYSTEMS
With a variety of different panel options available, we have a solution for all your exterior cladding needs from lightweight plastic composites to impact resistant materials such as plywood and thermoset phenolic resin.
- Panel 15
-

- Industry benchmark for wood panels for over 35 years
- 15-Year standard panel warranty
- Durable and impact resistant composition
- Economical alternative to other building materials
- Can be installed using one or two piece moldings
Panel 15® is a composite panel made by laminating a textured aluminum skin to a substrate of douglas fir exterior grade plywood. A fiberglass reinforced kraft/foil scrim backer is added for panel balance and acts as a moisture barrier. These panels are ideal for applications such as; claddings, canopies, fascia, accent bands, and soffits. Panel 15® is also ideal for many other applications where durability, strength, and overall cost are primary concerns.
- SinoCore
-

- Available in both smooth and textured skins
- Simple 'sheets & sticks' installation saves time & money
- Lightweight and water resistant composition
- Available in Kynar 500®, metallics & anodized finishes
- Can be installed using one or two piece moldings
SinoCore® is a composite panel made by laminating either textured or smooth prefinished aluminum skins to a core of high density polypropylene. A second aluminum skin is added as a backer and provides panel balance. These panels are ideal for applications where traffic is minimal and appearance is key such as; canopies, fascia, accent bands, soffits, or corporate identity programs. And with a number of finish options, SinoCore® also helps add interest to otherwise monolithic structures (i.e. preformed warehouse walls).
Similar to ProCore™, SinoCore® panels are lightweight, water resistant, and may be field curved (for large radius requirements). However, SinoCore® panels are installed with slightly raised profile moldings to accent the shadow line.
- ProCore

ProCore™ is a composite panel made by laminating either textured or smooth prefinished aluminum skins to a core of high density polypropylene. A second aluminum skin is added as a backer and provides panel balance. These panels are ideal for applications where traffic is minimal and appearance is key such as; canopies, fascia, accent bands, soffits, or corporate identity programs. And with a number of finish options, ProCore™ also helps add interest to otherwise monolithic structures (i.e. preformed warehouse walls).
Similar to SinoCore®, ProCore panels are lightweight, water resistant, and may be field curved (for large radius requirements). However, ProCore™ moldings are flat and the panel is slightly thicker for increased performance. - Panel 20
-

- Impact resistant thermoset phenolic resin core
- Simple 'sheets & sticks' installation saves time & money
- Dense core provides ultimate panel flatness
- Available in Kynar 500®, metallics & anodized finishes
- Can be curved to form clean, graceful lines
Panel 20® is a composite panel for exterior use made by laminating an aluminum skin to a substrate of thermoset phenolic resin. A second aluminum skin is added as a backer and provides thermal stability and panel balance. This system is designed for use as exterior cladding on walls, canopies, fascias, and accent bands. However, Panel 20® is also ideal for other applications where a high end look is desired.
Similar to Envelope2000®, Panel 20® is impact resistant, water resistant, and provides ultimate smoothness in a wide variety of finishes. However, Panel 20® is installed using a variety of moldings, saving on the fabrication and installation costs. - Envelope 2000
-

- Fully fabricated system offers high end aesthetics
- Rout & Return (RR), RainScreen (RS) and Reveal (RV)
attachment systems - Dense core provides ultimate panel flatness
- Available in Kynar 500®, metallics & anodized finishes
- Can be curved to form clean, graceful lines
Envelope 2000® is a composite panel for exterior use made by laminating an aluminum skin to a substrate of thermoset phenolic resin. A second aluminum skin is added as a backer and provides thermal stability and panel balance. This system is designed for use as exterior cladding on walls, canopies, fascias, and accent bands. However, Envelope 2000® is also ideal for other applications where a high end look is desired.
Similar to Panel 20®, Envelope 2000® is impact resistant, water resistant, and provides ultimate smoothness in a wide variety of finishes. However, a thicker core and fully fabricated attachment systems takes this panel to the next level in exterior cladding.
FAQ
- What colors are available?
-
Depending upon the system selected, we have a wide range of finishes available including polyester and acrylic urethane coatings, Kynar 500® coatings (solid tones and metallics), anodized, and porcelain enamel steel. We can provide virtually any custom color to match your standard.
- What type of substrate do I need?
-
In general, most of our systems are placed over a nailable substrate (i.e. plywood). Some systems may also be placed over a non-nailable substrate (i.e. DensGlass®). When using a non-nailable substrate, the panels must be fastened directly to the stud framing. Special instructions also apply when a moisture barrier is present over the substrate.
- Can these panels be used in a structural application?
-
Yes and No. Our panel systems are to be used as cladding only. Therefore, they may not be used in a structural application. However, there is one exception. Panel 15® may be considered part of the structural wall assembly if a specified fastening schedule and sequence is utilized. Contact us for more information.
- Can these panels be used for roofing applications?
-
No. Citadel panels are designed to be used as wall cladding only. However, the wall system may be used in applications that do not exceed 25° from vertical (i.e. mansard roofs).
